JUNIOR LEGAL (JURIST) & COMPLIANCE in INSURANCE and FINANCE INDUSTRY (1/2 years experience)

To strengthen its Legal & Compliance team, Farad Group is looking to hire a junior Legal & Compliance in Finance Industry on a full time permanent basis in its Luxembourg offices. The successful candidates will report directly to the Legal & Compliance Manager.

The Role
  • ► Drafting and reviewing legal agreements with third parties and any other pertinent legal documents;
  • ► Liaise with clients and lawyers on legal issues: life insurance and financial issues;
  • ► Provide legal advice to senior management and other internal departments;
  • ► Organise and draft minutes of board meetings and Keep abreast of any development on regulatory framework applicable to the company;
  • ► Support in drafting and reviewing main internal procedures and ensuring its regular update and compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • ► Ensuring that the highest standards of corporate governance are maintained;
  • ► Monitoring and reviewing new laws, regulations and market practices which may impact the business. Propose draft and prepare any reporting to the CSSF and Commissariat aux Assurances;
  • ► Maintain full awareness within team and management of applicable laws and regulations as well as circulars from supervisory bodies;
  • ►Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of controls, procedures and policies aimed at ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements;
  • ► Assist in Anti-Money Laundering activities and in providing annual AML training for all staff; Report to the management on compliance matters;

Your profile
  • ► University Degree in law in banking or insurance;
  • ► Previous experience in legal or compliance function or both (1-2 years or 3-4 years’ experiences in finance Asset Management and life insurance);
  • ► Fluent French and Italian (written and verbal) and a good command of English is required;
  • ► Ability to work in autonomy and deliver high quality work;
  • ► Focused attitude to work with the ability to constantly meet deadlines while ensuring attention to details, and high levels of accuracy.

MIDDLE OFFICE OFFICER

The Middle Office Officer will be positioned at Luxembourg Headquarters and will integrate the International Middle Office Team.

Responsibilities

Dealing on daily basis with clients contacts and insurance companies
Producing and managing administrative documentation
Establishing and updating SLA’s
Ensuring the appropriate support is provided to sales and front office people
Managing payments and administrative tasks regarding contracts

Key Requirements

Relevant experience in the insurance sector
Ability to deal with multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to work in team but also individually with initiative and good organizational skills
Dynamic, client focused with excellent communication skills
Fluency in English, French and German. Italian would be considered as an asset
